“It is the sweet, simple things in life that are the real ones after all.”
– Laura Ingalls Wilder

The Mom's Guide to a Nourishing Garden Book Cover
It’s a favorite quote from my new book, The Mom’s Guide to a Nourishing Garden.  Strange how quotes find you – when you need to hear them.  I chose this quote to be at the beginning of Chapter 3, Creating the Recipe to a Nourishing Life.  In that chapter, I give the recipe to a nourishing life and it involves digging deep into who we are and who we want to be.  This chapter was a culmination of thoughts that had been swirling in my head for a few years, related to always thinking “I’m not enough.”  Not enough in so many ways.  But then it became clear that what was really important wasn’t what I was doing, it was what I was being.

Not what I was doing, what I was being.

We are human beings after all.  Not human doings.

It’s one of the 25 reasons I wrote my book.  To inspire other women to focus on the simple things, creating the simple memories that will last a lifetime with their families.

So, I’m inviting you to join me on a nourishing journey.

This month, I will be sending out the ingredients in the recipe, the recipe to a more nourishing life.  And how to take those ingredients and mold them into your own recipe for a nourishing life.  I will be sending out 7 emails, for 7 ingredients, over 7 days, which will be filled with encouragement, inspiration, and a recipe video featuring a recipe from my book.   That’s 7 days to a more nourishing life.

Are you interested?

I would love to connect with you.

The Nourishing Recipe Will Include:

  • How to take care of yourself in the midst of chaos
  • What it means to live with meaning and intention
  • What to prune away and how to remove the weeds in your life
  • Creating the legacy you desire

Do you need to slow down and live more intentionally?  I hope you will join.  All you have to do is leave a comment below and say you’d like to join…I would LOVE to hear from you.  Together, let’s help each other slow down and savor the moments we create with our families and the people we share life with.

I’m so excited about this club and what I hope it will do for you.  The nourishment it will provide.  Will you join me?
